Alpha3D began with a passion for 3D printing and a drive to solve real-world problems through innovation. What started as an interest in creating cosplay and props quickly grew into designing functional parts and solutions that benefit both individuals and industrial clients. Our journey took a major turn when a challenge at Cody’s full-time job led to the creation of the GuardTec Shield, a product now used by a major industrial company to outfit their entire plant.

From that moment on, Alpha3D was born as a company dedicated to providing high-quality, custom 3D-printed products that solve problems and enhance operations.

Alpha3D may be a small operation, but we take pride in delivering big results. Our team of two is committed to providing excellent service and unparalleled customer support. Backed by over 24 years of combined industrial experience, 8 years of military service, and 7 years as a first responder, we bring a wealth of knowledge, discipline, and problem-solving skills to every project we take on.

Our Vision for the Future

As we continue to grow, our goal is to expand deeper into the industrial field by offering on-site design work and incorporating real-time 3D scanning to better meet the needs of our clients. Additionally, we aim to scale our production capabilities to accommodate larger orders while maintaining the high level of quality we’re known for.

A Success Story: The GuardTec Shield

One of our proudest achievements was working with Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to solve a critical issue at their power plant. An unprotected actuator switch was accidentally triggered, causing significant downtime and loss of revenue. After extensive prototyping, we developed the GuardTec Shield, which protected the actuator switches and ultimately led to outfitting the entire plant. This success sparked the founding of Alpha3D and continues to inspire us to develop solutions that make a difference.
